Crabby Rick`s Shore Shack in Normandy Beach

I would not recommend as we live in the area and see them leave seafood out all day long. Prices are very high and paying tourist rates, wave and keep going

Great spot with always friendly service. Fresh food that is made to order. Rumor has it there is a new chicken sandwich coming out summer of 2020. This is definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. I have never had a bad experience here.

My wife and I really loved this place! The food was awesome and they even have take out! I had the Crabcake sandwich and my wife had the shrimp tacos they both came with old bay fries. I highly recommend eating at Crabby Ricks!! Its a great mom and pop place!

Mixed reviews but mostly good. The blackened fish definitely lived up to the hype. Lobster roll and onion rings were good. Rick (owner) was awesome.Went specifically for whole belly fried clams. What we got was unrecognizable meat (don't even believe they were clam strips) breaded and fried.We will go back, just not for clams.

This place is a little gem. Fantastic Lobster Roll, Blackened Fish Sandwich and Shrimp Tacos to name a few. BYOB and comfortable atmosphere. Great for dine in and take out!!

Good place if you looking for good sea food I am 6ft 5in so the seats were a little small for me

What a place. Great music, calm atmosphere, and amazing food. Blackened Fish Sandwich is a must, but honestly one could not go wrong with anything on the menu. An overall great find!

What a neat place! Staff was very friendly. The beer battered fish sandwich was huge! The fish was nice and flaky and not greasy.

Crabby Ricks is one of the highlights of our annual shore vacation. Highly recommend the Spicy Crab Soup some of our other favs The Shrimp Taco’s, Blackened Fish Platter,Clam Strips, Crab Cakes and Crab Balls, Lobster Mac n Cheese

We loved our first visit and definitely will be back! The blackened fish sandwich was a very generous portion and soo delicious! Salad instead of fries, no problem and friendly kids working there. Thx Liam..

Dinner was fabulous, fish and chips were perfect. And softshell crabs sandwich was amazing.

Got the crab balls and lobster tacos. Both were good but loved the crab balls the most, and fries are good too. Nearly drove past, so glad we stopped for a bite back from the beach. Great atmosphere and really friendly staff. Good experience and well worth the money.

All the sandwiches we try were excellent! And we shared a lot as we couldn't decide on just a few.

Just had an amazing lunch at Crabby Rick's. Absolutely the best grilled blackened fish and lobster roll. Reasonably priced, great portion and award winning fries! Gotta go back tomorrow! IT'S THAT PHENOMENAL!!!!

Has huge potential. But bottom line, it feels and looks dirty - grim looking food prep scene. And a NE staple, the Lobster Roll, is a travesty: Weirdly, the lobster meat was fresh but the execution sucked.

if you like finding gems this is the spot.. the shore shack vibe is spot on & the Blackened Fish sandwich is a can't miss.. I'd describe it, but just try it & let it speak for itself

Incredible. This place has the absolute best seafood in the area by a lot. Don't go anywhere else but here if you want quality seafood. No restaurant in the area is even close in quality and price.

Casual, outdoors only sea food shack, summers only!! Food is fresh and delicious, service is quick and seating area invites to linger. Love the selection of iced teas + lemonades (free refills, too!). Absolute 'must-go' when visiting the Shore!

Left immediately walked up to eat had two boys that were cooking and they were playing with the food

Stumbled upon Crabby Rick's....had an excellent blacked fish sandwich. I returned the next day and had the lobster roll which was also excellent....had a ton of fresh lobster that was nicely seasoned. Place has a cool island vibe which we loved and Rick is there making sure everything runs smoothly. Highly recommended!

Went there with my family. Prices are what's expected for lobster etc. I ordered the $12.50 lobster mac/cheese. Two little chuncks of lobster and for me the sauce needs something. Too bland. Food was fresh but way to cheap with the main ingredient you pay for. Same with the lobster tacos. Really fresh but way short on the lobster. It should be the star of every lobster dish. I gave it a 3 because the people (staff) are nice and food is fresh but I didn't get what I paid for. I won't be back.

Very good quality food

I got very very sick here after eating soft shell crabs and clams. I would not recommend eating here. Ever.

Good food, cool vibe

I was looking forward to going for the good food, but we have going for three nights in a row and it was closed. Due to it being late June it was a little disappointing. Hopefully it being open can change this.

Great spot! The only bad part was that we didn’t want to leave! The food was amazing and atmosphere was awesome. Loved the music and feel of the place. Highly reccomend for a cool spot to grab lunch or dinner.

Casual picnic bench seating, beech block, free parking, great food, fresh, reasonably priced and friendly family oriented.

Rick wasn't the only crabby one. Great staff, mediocre food, big disappointment. Fried clams were big, chewey and inedible.

Crabby Ricks is A great spot. It is a road side rustic crab shack. The food is the freshest on the Jersey Shore. I ordered the lobster roll. It was overloaded with a heaping pile of lobster meat with no fillers.I have paid $25 for a lobster Roll full of mayo and half the amount of lobster in Maine. My wife had the fish tacos. The fish filet was caught that day and broiled while we waited. The taco was dwarfed by the huge fish filet. The seasoning was perfect and the portion was large. The onion rings were homemade and the batter was excellent with all the right seasonings. We bought a house a few blocks away and now we found our perfect LUNCH/DINNER spot. I have a forensic pallet and his food impressed me and is so reasonably priced. The owner Rick is a great guy and really cares about quality and it shows, because he is behind the grill himself!!!!

Very delicious food with a cozy atmosphere. Also it is a BYOB which is a plus!
